Paysecure is a payment orchestration platform providing a single API integration into a wide range of global payment rails. Their technology leverages AI-driven routing and cascading to optimise transaction success rates across complex payment environments, with a dedicated focus on the iGaming sector. They support merchants ranging from Tier 1 operators through to high-growth startups, operating across LATAM, Asia and EMEA.
Paysecure was moving from early-stage startup into a structured scale-up phase, with a clear focus on building out its commercial function. The business had no internal talent team at the time, and bandwidth across the leadership team was limited. Hiring had been reactive and difficult to prioritise alongside day-to-day operations.
The objective was straightforward: build a high-performing commercial team and establish a physical presence in Malta. Over a three-month period, FinPay Talent placed five key hires including the first two roles based in Malta. For junior candidates entering payment orchestration for the first time, we invested time in educating them on the technology and value proposition so they could engage credibly from day one.
Rather than letting Paysecure navigate the compliance risk of hiring in Malta without an entity, we stepped in with a practical solution. We introduced them to Multiplier as an Employer of Record partner, enabling fully compliant employment in Malta without the cost or delay of setting up a legal entity. Paysecure also benefited from a commercial discount through our introduction.
We took full ownership of the hiring process so the leadership team could stay focused on the business. This included building a custom ATS, scheduling all interviews, managing feedback loops between candidates and hiring managers, and keeping candidates warm and prepared throughout the journey.
